Who are we?

A small group of Shogi enthusiasts who wants to learn and explore this exciting game! The Shōgi club is an EJCA-affiliated club which got started only in 2022. We focus on learning and playing Shōgi, but are open to explore other Japanese board games as well. We seek to meet in person at least once per month in the EJCA Centre, but depending on schedules, we may also meet online or host online tournaments on lishogi.org. We still count ourselves as 'beginners', so we'd love to grow our experience with more people of all ages joining.
